Girls' Generation: the story of me,knowing SNSD!!!!

Girls' Generation. SNSD. SoShi. Shoujo Jidai. I just love this South-Korean girl group so much! ;)

The first time I knew SNSD was in late 2008. I don't remember the month precisely though. I knew them from their CF with Dong Bang Shin Gi (which at that time, was still a 5-member boyband) for Anycall. There were only 3 members who involved in the CF though. Yoona, Tiffany, and Jessica :) you can watch it here. :) It was quite old. But, it contains so many memories to me. :) since I was a fan of DBSK too. With 5 members. And only 5. Not 3, not 2. NO kidding. -_- I loved it when they were 5!!
All right back to SNSD!! >.< their first MV which I watched was not their debut song at all. I watched Kissing You for the first time, and immediately, constantly, unstoppably fell in love with SNSD!! :D I adore them so much. Then I started to search for their names, ages, birthdays, which one is who, and so on. And the first thing was, I mixed up Yoona with Yuri. I could not differ them back then. It was a serious case o.O but it didn't take much time to be fixed ;D I started recognizing them, and of course, remember all of their names. :)
After that, of course I searched for their other MVs, and I found Into the New World which is their debut
song, Girls' Generation their second song, and Baby Baby. They are all adorable! x)
Then on January 2009, they came back with.. Gee which was a BIG HIT!! nope. HUGE!! >.< the song was actually released after their 9-month of preparing and doing-nothing-around-the-entertainment-industry activity. Of course, because they prepared A LOT for this one, they gained such an incredibly successful result!! I am so proud of them! lol Actually, at that time, I didn't know that Gee was released after their 9-month of "not-doing-anything" (read: preparing EXTRA hard for this comeback). Since I was late (in knowing that their last song baby baby was released quite a long time before), I didn't wait for 9-months lol. I just waited for around 2 months, and this Gee fever was spreading like mad. x)
After the Gee-Gee-Gee-Gee baby baby baby fever, they came back with an equally addicting song, Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)!! They used sailor-like outfits for this new, special MV. With these two songs, they started to become the super stars of the Hallyu wave. And it didn't stop there. On the beginning of 2010, they came back with another song, Oh! and Run Devil Run as the repackaged album! Of course, no doubt, these songs were also a HUGE hit. Oh! brought them the Daesang award in 2010!! x) I am more proud of them! In the middle of 2010, they started rocketing to the Japanese market. Geniewas
their Japanese debut. And agaiiiinnn for sure, the Japanese fans went crazy over them!!! Yep yep, as the result of that, they entered deeply with.. the Japanese version of Gee!!! result: You knew it. lol
As their popularity in Japan was going up and much more higher, they made a comeback in the homecountry in late 2010 with Hoot. Again of course, AMAZING result. They won the awards for Music Bank, Mutizen, and so much more, for, like, almost every week!!!! @.@ And this song brought them the Daesang award
again, in the beginning of 2011~~ and now, SNSD fever has spreaded everywhere, all around Asia! And, hoping for around the world to give them stars too! :)
There's more! They colaborated with Intel, and released a new song, Visual Dreams, not long ago. They also have just released their Japanese version of Run Devil Run, but not with a music video. The song is sold crazily
as ringtones in Japan. More craziness! :D
The first time I knew them, I was so addicted by them. And now, more!! x) SNSD has successfully stolen people's hearts. I am hoping the best for them. This year and more years to come, will be the years of SNSD! :) lol Keep on shining, girls! Forever, until they get much older (me too) I will always be a fan of Girls' Generation! <3

Yoona was the first one I found, and the first one I knew. Although at first I mixed her up with Yuri lol. I looked back and forth to the Kissing You music video and this photo, trying to convince myself about which one is Yoona, and which one is Yuri. LOL She was my favorite, and is still my favorite, up to now! :)

Then, it's Yuri! :) she's my second favorite! :) Yoona-Yuri <3

Seohyun! she's also my favorite :) the first time I saw her in the Kissing You MV, I could immediately find out that she is the youngest one. LOL she's just too cute, and so calm :)
